What I speak about

I talk about the things I see every day as a developer and coach: why teams cut corners under pressure, why developers quit, what mob programming actually does to a team, and the daily, often absurd reality of being an “ordinary” software developer.

I also dig into the questions beyond the code — developer productivity, where AI helps and where it gets in the way, team health, who we choose as role models in our industry, and how we recruit and onboard people well.

Expect anecdotes, opinions, and a healthy dose of humour rather than polished slides.
