Who it’s for
Teams and organizations that need experienced engineering help — but don’t just want another developer added to the team.
I work hands-on with the technology while helping the people around me become better at what they do. That might mean solving a difficult architectural problem, improving how a team delivers software, coaching developers, or simply getting stuck into the code alongside the team.
What I help with
I work across software architecture, software development practices, code quality, Agile ways of working, DevOps, and technical coaching.
The exact role depends on what the team needs. I might be writing code, designing an architecture, coaching developers, helping a team improve its delivery process, or stepping into a manager or technical lead role. I don’t believe in forcing every engagement into the same shape.
Recent work has included building CI/CD pipelines for multiple teams and helping an organization move from releasing every six months towards continuous delivery.
